Once you go Mac, you never go back!!

I've been initiated officially to the Apple family!! Hello, Macbook.

No my world has not been turned upside down. BUT, my computer hasn't frozen solid. I haven't seen a blue screen of death. . . yet. It doesn't turn off every time the charger slips out of the hole in the slightest (. . . doesn't slip out of the hole 'cause it's a magnet!!). I like it--a lot.

And Mr. Mac will be super-helpful in school. Can't wait to see those beautiful physiology slides on this screen!!

Happy Birthday/Graduation/Lifetime to me from my wonderful, giving parents!!

Also, here's a little sneak into the world of my little apartment.  There is a long way to go on the interior decorating but it's coming!!

And, here's a little update on the past weekend, in pictures:
First off, I had a friend travel down to Charleston with me. My 85 year old Grandfather killed this massive buck-deer  this past fall. He actually won a prize for the biggest buck taken in Berkeley County of SC this season! But, alas, may I introduce you to Stewie the buck-deer (affectionately named by my sister-in-law's sister who rode with me and survived FIVE hours of my driving due to the crazy traffic caused by the Cooper River Bridge Run).
My Post-CRBR orange--it's a butt-ish orange! My time will not be posted here but it was an absolute blast to run the race and I will be doing it again next year (and, in a shorter time).

And, finally, post CRBR dinner on Saturday night. TACO MAMACITA on Sullivan's Island. We stumbled upon this little place but it was delish! That middle thing is Mexican sweet corn and it's covered in a Chipotle sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan--so amazing and zing-y! I got the "General Homeboy Taco" (on the left, taco with a Thai twist--yummy) and the "Oy Vey Taco" (on right, chipotle beef brisket with ranchero sauce and guac!). You should go--hello, fun date night! AND, though I didn't try it, you should try their sangria because it looked amazing [only 10 days 'til I can try it too]!

And there's my weekend. It was good. It was great! And I spent it with some of my best friends and former roommates and the great men in their lives!!!!
