Back to the books I go!
This semester includes many exciting opportunities in the OR, the hospital, and in the community!!
All I've worked for is beginning to culminate into something bigger and better than book knowledge and it is very exciting!
July 26th is the date of my White Coat Ceremony and my transition into the clinical world. It can't come soon enough and yet, my fearful self would like to put on the brakes a little. But ready or not. . .
"I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass, and have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundation of the earth. . . . I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar--the LORD of hosts is his name. And I have put my words in your mouth and covered you in the shadow of my hand." (Isaiah 51: 12-13, 16)
He who has loved me enough to send the Son to take from me the staggering cup of wrath I deserve for my sin will also cover me in the shadow of His hand and comfort my fears. He is indeed my Maker and the creator of all health and humanity and He is to be praised!
